Information We Collect

We collect account details such as name, email address, hashed password, organisation name, timezone, subscription details, post content, schedules, social account metadata, media metadata, notifications, job logs, and audit logs needed to operate the service.

When you connect a social account, such as a Facebook Page or Instagram Business account, PostDaily receives account identifiers, display names, usernames, profile images, access tokens, token expiry information, and permissions granted through the provider login flow.

How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate users, manage organisations, show connected social accounts, schedule and publish posts, record publishing results, provide support, prevent abuse, send service notifications, and maintain billing or subscription records.

For Meta/Facebook integrations, we use granted permissions only to list Pages or linked Instagram Business accounts you manage, store the selected account connection, and publish content that you create or schedule in PostDaily.

Social Tokens And Security

PostDaily never asks for or stores your Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, or other social media passwords. Social account connections must happen through provider-hosted OAuth or login flows.

Access tokens are encrypted before storage. Large media files are stored through the configured storage adapter and not directly in the database.

Sharing Information

We share content and account information with social media providers only as needed to connect accounts, publish posts, refresh account status, or retrieve publishing results. We do not sell personal information.

User Control

You can disconnect social accounts in PostDaily. You may also request account, organisation, or social connection deletion by contacting support.
